Five American college students venture into Russia's Ural Mountains to investigate the Dyatlov Pass Incident, and discover the true meaning of terror found-footage horror film from director Renny Harlin. In 1959, nine experienced Russian hikers were mysteriously killed during an excursion into the Ural Mountains. Upon locating their campsite, investigators discovered a disturbing scene -- their tents had been frantically torn open from the inside, their bodies had suffered massive internal trauma, and their clothing contained high levels of radiation. More than 50 years later, their deaths still remain a deeply haunting mystery. When a small group of college students receive a grant to examine the site for more evidence, they depart with hopes of offering closure to the story. But that was just the beginning of a whole new nightmare. None of the footage shot by the students has ever been seen by the public until now, and it reveals a horrifying scene. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
